Proud to be 100% Canadian on Canada Day

Tradable Bits is Proud to be 100% Canadian on Canada Day

Happy Canada Day!

Although we serve millions of clients from all over the world and have a global vision for the future of social media, we are very proud to be Canadian. As part of our country’s birthday festivities we’re celebrating the fact that our company is 100% Canadian:

We store all of our data in Canada

All of our servers are located on Canadian soil and therefore every bit of data we collect is stored in Canada. We happily abide by all Canadian privacy laws and proudly support Canadian ethics for data storage. Here's a Canada Day themed example of how cool and powerful Canadian data can be: Tradable Bits Canada Day Stream!

We support Canadian charities & non-profits

We've given (and continue to give) extensive discounts to hundreds of Canadian charities and non-profits to make our powerful platform even more affordable on charitable budgets. Most recently, we’ve collaborated with Bell Let’s Talk in supporting the social media side of Clara’s Big Ride, which has been a huge success and a great pleasure to work with such inspiring people.

We collaborate with other Canadian companies

We love to serve and collaborate with other Canadian companies. We’re partnered with Hootsuite - a massive, Vancouver-grown social media company - and are looking to work with other Canadian tech companies that share our vision. Our platform powers the social strategies of the Vancouver Canucks, lululemon athletica, Tourism Whistler, Inside Vancouver, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Telus Science World and tons of other local companies. Canada Place is even showcasing all of the #CanadaDay posts from across the country on their website, mobile app and big screens with our product Stream.

We employ Canadian tech and creative graduates

Morgan our App Designer, Jon our Social App Advocate and Emily our Social Media Specialist  (that's me!) have all graduated from Simon Fraser University here in Vancouver. We have employed co-op students (programmers and creative staff) from the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, McGill, Waterloo and many other Canadian universities. Even our CEO, Darshan graduated from the University of Alberta! We’ve got a global vision for social media marketing, but we never forget about where we came from. We’re very proud to support Canadians and Canadian technology, especially on this sunny July 1st!

Go Canada!
